Concealed Handgun Reciprocity Is Dangerous? A Challenge To The LA Times.

One of the first Second Amendment issues that President-elect Trump promises to address is legislation regarding national concealed carry reciprocity. The language in several bills already proposed varies somewhat, but the general theme is that if you have a concealed carry permit in one state, it should be honored in all states.

The Los Angeles Times editorial board is upset over the legislation, because they’ve convinced themselves that the law will somehow endanger public safety.

The NRA’s president, Wayne LaPierre, has already released a video statement trumpeting the victory, patting gun owners on the back for making it possible and calling for a renewed push to dismantle state and local gun-control laws. “Our time is now,” LaPierre said. “This is our historic moment to go on offense.”

Passerby stops to assist state trooper being attacked on highway (VIDEO)

For the second time in just over two weeks, a good Samaritan stopped on Florida’s I-75 to help a law enforcement officer in need.

Jeffery Duclos, who happens to be a veteran and retired Rhode Island police officer, was traveling on the highway in Collier County when he noticed the Florida Highway Patrol trooper being attacked by two suspects. Dulcos, fearing the trooper might not go home that night, pulled over and intervened.

“I think the kid saw me coming, so he basically surrendered,” Duclos said.

The trooper pulled over Richard Lazo Torres and Isaac Ruiz Wilson after he clocked them at driving over 100 miles per hour, but after pulling to the side of the road, Torres and Wilson switched seats in an apparent effort to hide the fact that
