BOARDMAN

A township woman faces criminal charges after reportedly suffering a drug overdose in November.

Kimberly Ramun, 40, of Angiline Drive was arrested Monday on warrants charging her with endangering children, possessing drug-abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charges stem from a Nov. 1 incident in which police and emergency and medical responders were called to Ramun’s home for a suspected overdose.

There, a woman reported she had found Ramun unresponsive on a bedroom floor. A 9-year-old was present at the time of the overdose.

Ramun was revived with several doses of naloxone, a medication that reverses the effects of an opioid overdose.

Police reported finding syringes, a burnt spoon, and medical gauze sitting on a dresser in Ramun’s bedroom.

Reached by The Vindicator on Tuesday, Ramun declined to comment.

Her arrest is the third in several days by township police for similar incidents.

Police on Friday arrested Kristina Green, 28, of Hillman Way

An Oklahoma woman is facing three counts of first degree murder and three counts of first-degree burglary after three masked home invaders were shot and killed by a 19-year old man as they broke into his father’s home.

Three teens dressed in black and wearing masks and gloves were killed by a resident when they broke into a home, Oklahoma authorities said Monday.

The 23-year-old son of the homeowner fired shots from a rifle; officials said. One suspect had a knife, another carried brass knuckles.

“Preliminary investigation looks like it’s self-defense,” said Wagoner County Sheriff’s Deputy Nick Mahoney, cautioning the investigation was continuing into the midday home invasion.

The shooter voluntarily spoke with investigators. Neither he nor his father were hurt.

A 21-year-old woman, identified as Elizabeth Rodriguez, turned herself into Broken Arrow

Good Samaritan Chicago cop faces Internal Affairs investigation over saving kids from squalor

The Chicago Police Department is investigating one of its officers after he helped three young girls found living in an abandoned home.

The officer set up a GoFundMe page for the girls who were known as the Englewood Angels.

The police department said the officer violated its policy by helping the girls.

Chicago Police Sergeant Charles Artz is learning that no good deed goes unpunished.

After discovering the deplorable conditions the girls were living in, Artz launched the effort to raise money and supplies for the kids and the grandmother who agreed to take care of them.

Dolores Anderson has a roof over her head and, for now, enough food and clothes to help raise her granddaughters who were found living in squalor just a few months ago.

“They’ve been doing very well, picking up weight, eating good, sleeping better,” she said.

Last year, the 53-year-old immediately agreed to take care of the kids,
